Day 2 Monastier to le Bouchet St Nicolas

Bloody hills! Here's another, coming out of le Monastier. Poor Modestine!

One of my favourite views of the trip.

Just another pic.

Lunch stop outside a hamlet - complete with a (dead) potplant containing a Puy lentil plant.

It's moments like these ...... this was a lovely part of the walk.

What exactly did Rex say that so upset the lady in the boulangerie? She was nice to us ;)

Just another view that took my fancy.

Lunch by the infant Loire.

Ah, there's another of those pesky white on red signs - not all of them are as easy to find as this though.

Di and Rex - the youngest and oldest on the walk.

The last hill before seeing l'Arrestadou (or so we thought).

l'Arrestadou ferme auberge was a welcome sight indeed after a pretty long and hectic walk.

GREAT food and free wine - can't complain about that.

Now that's a cheese plate!
